Call Center Makes Talent Development a Priority to Win 'Best Center" Title. Last month the Customer Service and Consumer Banking division gathered for the annual President's Plate Awards Ceremony, honoring the highest individual and group achievements of the year. Each year the Call Centers battle for the award of "Best Center," a title earned this year by the call center in Lake Park, Utah.
The Lake Park center not only drove efficiency and steady business results, but also represented the values of the company as a whole through its focus on the customer, its development of its employees and its continuation of our corporate tradition of volunteerism.
Making talent development a top priority, the management team adopted the motto of “creating an environment our employees want to come to everyday, even on their day off.” Whether through participation in fundraisers for local and national charities, individual coaching and guidance to develop employee talent, or periodic spirit boosting events like tailgate lunches or Discover Brand Mondays, the Lake Park call center has proven itself to be a rewarding work experience.
